Day by day.
Day 1
Arrival in Paris, the City of Light
Arrival in Paris and welcome by the accompanying guide, with a private transfer from the airport to the city. A panoramic coach tour offers a first look at Paris — its main districts, grand squares and avenues, famous monuments, the bridges over the Seine, and its landmark museums. Check-in at the hotel and time to settle in.
Day 2
Historic Paris: icons & legendary quarters
After breakfast, head to the Eiffel Tower for photos (exterior), then the major landmarks including the Louvre and Notre-Dame de Paris (exteriors). Discover the artistic quarter of Montmartre, then the Arc de Triomphe at Place de l'Étoile, with time to admire the Champs-Élysées.
Day 3
Paris to Bruges & Brussels: medieval charm
Drive to Bruges (about 3.5 hours), the UNESCO-listed city known as the “Venice of the North”. A guided visit takes in the Markt square and its famous belfry, the Béguinage, and the main historic sites, with a walk along the canals and a stop at the romantic Lake of Love (Minnewater). Continue to Brussels (about 1.5 hours), with free time for personal discovery.
Day 4
Brussels: European institutions & icons
Visit the European Parliament and learn about its history and role, see the famous Atomium (exterior), and explore the Grand-Place, the historic heart of Brussels, with free time for shopping or a stroll through the city centre.
Day 5
Modern Netherlands to the Amsterdam canals
Drive to Rotterdam, a modern city famed for its innovative architecture, including the iconic cube houses. Continue to The Hague for an exterior look at the International Criminal Court (ICC) and the International Court of Justice (ICJ). Then on to Amsterdam, with free time to discover the canals and the local atmosphere.
Day 6
Amsterdam & Zaanse Schans: Dutch traditions & windmills
Visit Dam Square, the historic heart of Amsterdam, and Museumplein with its great surrounding museums. An excursion to Zaanse Schans, a traditional Dutch village, reveals its emblematic windmills, a traditional cheese farm, and an artisan clog (wooden shoe) workshop.
Day 7
Departure
After breakfast, an early transfer to Brussels airport for your departure, at the close of the program.
